If you’re suffering from simple health issues like a common ear infection or nasal congestion, or you have nasal polyps or chronic sinus infections that require surgical treatments, Dr. Davis can help you. He’s a skilled otolaryngologist and rhinologist who can diagnose and treat a range of nose and sinus conditions.

Runny Nose & Allergies

Whether you have a runny nose or postnasal drip, you need lasting relief from symptoms of chronic rhinitis. You may be a candidate for RhinAer® and Clarifix® cryotherapy, which are effective options for chronic rhinitis refractory to medical therapy. These prodecure are usually done in the office using local anesthesia, meaning no long recovery from a general anesthesia.

Allergy testing and immunotherapy is also available to help eliminate your allergies symptoms. A series of small skin pricks are used to determine which allergens, such as pollen and mold, are causing reactions and then allergy drops or shots are administered to help reduce those responses.

Eustachian Tube Dysfunction & Balloon Dilation

Since blockage of the nose can lead to ear issues, Dr. Davis provides expert evaluation of certain types of Eustachian tube dysfunction  to help stabilize airflow in and out of their middle ear.

Dr. Davis can perform Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilation for patients suffering from Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (ETD), a minimally invasive procedure performed to open the auditory tube that connects ear and nasal passages. This is not a classic pressure equalization tube, so patients are able to swim and scuba dive.

Sinus Surgery

Sinus problems negatively impact life. It can be caused by a virus, bacteria, or fungus that swells and blocks the sinuses. A healthcare provider usually offers non-invasive treatments and procedures before resorting to surgery. If these don’t work, surgery may be recommended. Dr. Davis offers the most effective and state-of-the-art treatments for simple and complex sinus care.

Revision Endoscopic Sinus Surgery is a procedure where your surgeon removes the excess tissue, such as polyps, clogging up your sinus cavities to make breathing easier. This surgery often requires rhinologic expertise, such as the training Dr. Davis underwent in his sub-specialty training.
